Great baroque castle, with a traditional horse breeding and auction, adjoining a beautiful castle park and a nice restaurant. A nice destination with a 6 km long run hiking course that can be run without any problems.

We liked it very much. Food was great. Small note, small bottles for drinking :-) we would find nicer than glasses, otherwise everything was great.

Summer & Sun & Coffee & Cakes perfectly match this place. Definitely wonderful even in winter ? Right after the little ones can play with water on the playground and on the lawn you can relax afterwards. The restaurant is also beautiful inside and very well maintained, great staff and friendly service. Perfect :)

On August 2nd, 2017 my brother and I went to Wickrather Castle. Already on arrival around noon you feel a little hungry and we decided to have something to eat in the castle restaurant before exploring the area. We were not only positively surprised by the lovely furnishings. We were also spoiled with culinary delights. The taste was also excellent! The weather was stable and we could therefore sit on the terrace with a view of the park. In the afternoon we also had coffee and cake there due to the positive experience. It was an extremely pleasant day that you will always remember fondly. I can therefore highly recommend a visit to the castle restaurant.
